Hello everyone, i need a help about bittorrent (not only with bittorrent, with utorrent too). When i want to download torent files it is going very slow (0.1KB/s,1 KB/s...), even when there are more seeds than peers (920 seeds and 50 peers, or 3200 seeds and 2000 peers).I putted one file to download for 6 hours with 900 seeds and around 40 peers and it downloaded ONLY 8,6 PERCENT!!! Before it was good, but now... it's very bad
. So if you could help me to download files like before, i would be very appreciative. |

What's your ISP, and what's your connection? Some ISP's intentionally throttle torrent traffic.

I have the same problem. I used uTorrent first, thinking that it was the problem I turned to BitTorrent.
I use Windows XP SP3 with Verizon DSL (768kbps). My problem would be similar to deni's except that I see the YELLOW icon on the bottom bar. It's between DHT and D (download I'm assuming). I was using Comodo Pro and it had a red icon. I uninstalled it and got a yellow icon. Everything seems to be going so slowly. A 200MB file could not complete even with 12 hours of connection. I heard this might be a problem... with "port forwarding" or something like that. Thanks Oliver.

It sounds to me like it is almost certainly a port forwarding issue.
Do you have a firewall running, and/or a router with firewall? |

Well, does your router have a hardware firewall? Most do.
